After a year of collecting personal data and making monthly and yearly visualizations, friends and acquaintances were fascinated and asking me to make them their own.

The idea of a year end recap has been well popularized by Spotify "Wrapped." And, I have been inspired by Feltron's work on visualizations of his personal data.

The process of collecting the minutiae of your personal data is, at times, mind boggling. I knew for this to be a sustainable process for myself and to share the process with others, I needed to automate this collection. I also knew so much of our data that helps tells us what, where, when, why, and how we do things is well documented across a plethora of applications.

Traeta brings together your personal data currently spread across applications to automatically showcase your digital identity in one cohesive application that helps you grow you the rings of your digital style year after year.

Finding people to work with can be challenging. It is even more challenging to embark on creating a project that has not been done before at this capacity.

But when you find people passionate enough about the vision, those challenges become exciting. We get to focus on creating an application that is as utilitarian as it is delightful. The only constraints are our collective imagination, ability to create that vision, and the continuous energy flowing into and out of the project.

It feels like living in dreamworld to be able to build a delightful experience with delightful people. It is equally exciting to see how Traeta’s users enjoy the product experience we strive to create.
